GOSHEN — The Clason family will be one step closer to owning their own home after Habitat for Humanity of Elkhart County breaks ground at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday on River Avenue, according to reporting in the Elkhart Truth.

Habitat will host the ceremony alongside the Clason family, community leaders, sponsors and Habitat board members. The public has been invited to the ceremony.

This home will be for Valerie Clason and her two sons, Jacob, 19, and Philip, 22, both of whom have learning disabilities.

The walls for this home were constructed by panel build sponsor THOR Industries, which hosted the panel build at their Elkhart location on Thursday.

“THOR is honored to be a three-time build partner with Habitat for Humanity,” said THOR President and CEO Bob Martin. “Helping to support affordable housing for people in our community is one small way in which we can make an impact in the communities where we work, live and play.”
