Bluetti EB55 Offers Plenty of Portable Power for Camping

With the EB55, Bluetti has yet another compact and portable power station that can charge all your camping gear while conveniently recharging using your car or solar panels.

Founded in 2019, Bluetti has quickly become a global leader in the energy industry. The company manufactures a wide assortment of highly engineered products for portable power stations, home battery backup systems, solar generator kits, solar panels, expansion batteries and a variety of accessories.

Featuring a 700-watt AC pure sine wave inverter, 537 watt-hours LifePo4 battery capacity, the EB55 is one of five portable power stations offered by Bluetti, slotting in just above the EB3A (600W, 268Wh), and below the EB70S (800W, 716Wh), AC200P (2000W, 2000Wh) and AC200MAX (2200W, 2048Wh).

While all are highly capable in their own right, the EB55 is a perfect and essential piece of gear for off-the-grid RVing and campers. It successfully hits the sweet spot for camper – small enough to easily bring along yet powerful enough to keep devices and appliances powered for adventure.

Bluetti is certainly not the only company with a power station in the 537Wh category. However, the EB55 stands out among its counterparts due to a long list of features – starting with the built-in 700W inverter with a 537Wh capacity. Plus, it features 200W AC and 200W solar input, together with 15W wireless charger.

A little larger than a toaster and weighing just over 16 pounds, the EB55 can pack away rather easily and the built-in carrying handle makes handling it a breeze. Its LiFePO4 battery offers more than 2,500 life cycles of up to 80% of original capacity. And there are six ways you can recharge the unit (AC/Solar/Car/Generator/AC+Solar/Dual AC).

And since it can power more than 10 devices at once – including a wireless charging pad on top – it can run most of your essential outdoor appliances and electronics such as mobile phones, mini freezers, radios, projectors, drones, laptops, astronomical telescopes and nearly everything else you bring with you when camping.

It even features a nice little light for assembling s’smores. Plus, being gas-free, it’s quiet and eco-friendly – something all campers can appreciate.

As far as its appearance, consider this: Bluetti won the iF Design Award 2022 – one of the world’s most prestigious design awards – for both its EB55 and the AC200MAX portable power stations. The iF Design Award is organized by International Forum Design in Germany, which since 1953 has been “strictly evaluating the most innovative products in the world, and making sure they’re intertwined with both aesthetics and functionality.”
