This Firepit Syncs the Flames to Music

There is no question we’ve seen a lot of fun and exciting firepits over the years, including models that are almost entirely smokeless or offer nearly-unimpaired views of the flames. We’ve even used portable models that cleverly collapse down to an incredibly small size for better storage and transport. But we’ve never encountered a firepit quite like the Ukiah Voyager, which has a built-in Bluetooth speaker that makes the flames dance when music plays.

The sleek and stylish Voyager’s is available in either black or white and makes an attractive centerpiece in the backyard or at a campsite. The firepit’s powder-coated steel body is water resistant and durable, ensuring that it will remain great looking for many years to come. The propane-powered model even comes with an electric starter, which makes getting a fire going as easy as pushing a button. And once the flames are going, the unit produces up to 60,000 BTUs of heat, providing plenty of warmth for even the chilliest of nights.

But what truly separates this firepit from most of the competition is the wireless 2.1 sound system integrated into its design. The Voyager comes with two 3.5” marine-grade speakers and a custom subwoofer that crank out tunes with surprising clarity and volume. The result is an outdoor entertainment system that makes gathering around the fire even more enjoyable.

Users can wirelessly connect to the speakers via Bluetooth from up to 60 feet away. The Voyager’s onboard battery pack gives the sound system 20+ hours of playback, which is enough for several entertaining nights without requiring a recharge. But best of all, the system has a “Beat-to-Music” mode that synchronizes the movement of the flames to match the songs that are currently being played. This adds a fun and unique element to the device that livens up any party.

Thanks to its compact design, the Voyager is easy to store and transport. The firepit does weigh 48.5 lbs., however, which can make it a bit bulky to move around. Thankfully, Ukiah has integrated two strategically placed handles to assist with that process. The company also includes a 10’ gas hose with a regulator in the box, along with lava rocks and a protective cover.
