HIGHLANDS Ranch, Colo. — RV Business Solutions, a leading buy-sell advisor to RV dealers, was the exclusive sell-side advisor to Ken and Rusty Eckstein in the sale of their Greenfield, Ind.-based RV dealership, Mount Comfort RV, to Camping World (NYSE: CWH).
The acquisition was first announced July 24, 2023, in a release from Camping World Holdings Inc. At the time, Marcus Lemonis, chairman and CEO of Camping World, commented, “Mount Comfort is one of the premier RV dealers in America. They bring expertise and talent which help strengthen our already No. 1 position in Indiana.”
Ken Eckstein, owner of Mount Comfort RV, began his career in the RV industry when he was just in high school, washing trailers for Duffin’s Trailer Sales. He moved on to serve as an RV technician and used the experience to put himself through college, where he eventually graduated with a B.A. in Economics from Indiana University. He then went on to work with several leading RV dealers in Indiana, the best one being his very own dealership.
In April 2006, Ken purchased the assets of an old RV company named Mark’s RV Sales and established Mount Comfort RV with it. Since then, the dealership has expanded to over three times its original size, employing 55 people and featuring over 400 new and used vehicles in its inventory.
In addition to building a best-in-class facility and service center, Ken and his son Rusty added some of the top-selling product lines in the industry, including Tiffin, Newmar, and others.
