Report: NHTSA Releases its Latest Rundown of RV Recalls

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

Forest River Bus, LLC (Forest River Bus) is recalling 17 2021 Berkshire Coach Ultra UL1952 coaches. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 1, 2023.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 296 2016-2017 Ameralite Cargo trailers. The welded trailer drawbars may be insufficient for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR), which can cause the drawbars to fracture. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed March 1, 2023.
