at Camp-Resorts Around the USA
Grand Rapids, MI, April 24, 2023 – Northgate Resorts, one of the largest operators of camping resorts in America, has announced a slate of improvements, new features and openings across its 26 locations. Northgate Resorts is the largest franchisee of Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park
locations and operates several independent resorts as well at Camp Fimfo locations. The properties are adding more than 400 new cabins and RV sites to kick off a record setting summer travel season, as the organization looks to celebrate the warmer months with classic family fun.

This summer, the Camp Fimfo and Jellystone Park properties are preparing to offer endless fun for the upcoming season. Exciting enhancements are underway at both locations, and with events, weekly themes, festivals, and countless other activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this summer.
New and Upcoming Enhancements
Camp Fimfo Hill Country, TX
Camp Fimfo Hill Country is offering visitors a unique summer experience in one-of-a-kind accommodations with over 150 new cabins including Treetop and additional styles. Fimfo Adventures has recently opened “The Cliff Carver”, the first alpine coaster in Texas. The elevated coaster propels riders up to 25 miles per hour with scenic views of Hill Country. The property is also unveiling the new event center for weddings and other milestones this summer.
Camp Fimfo Waco, TX
To celebrate the kick-off of summer, Camp Fimfo Waco’s guests will enjoy themed weekends, family-friendly activities, and thrilling events throughout the season. The location is hosting live music at Squirrely’s Tavern, foam parties, and a variety of arts and crafts. Jellystone Park Clay’s Resort
In celebration of the 75th anniversary, Clay’s Resort will debut brand new cabins and cottages, a swimming pool, arcade, outdoor theater, and an upgraded log roll. The annual Country Festival is back on June 14-17th , showcasing country music’s best with Riley Green, Kane Brown, Sam Hunt, John Pardi and more against a backdrop of pristine alpine scenery. Back by popular demand, Clay’s Resort will host the Neon Nights festival on August 11-12th with headliners Travis Tritt and Tim McGraw.

Jellystone Park Glen Ellis
Summer attractions at Glen Ellis will feature an array of exciting activities and daily events, including laser tag sessions, tie-dye workshops, foam parties, and much more. The New Hampshire property is adding new glamping pods with views of the Saco and Ellis Rivers. Jellystone Park Tyler

Jellystone Park Waller
