New Generation RV Sold to Marquart RV in Wisconsin

HIGHLANDS RANCE Colo. – RV Business Solutions, a leading buy-sell advisor to RV dealers, was the sell-side advisor to Mark Merkling in the sale of his Burlington, Wis.-based RV dealership, New Generation RV, to Markquart RV, a Chippewa Falls, WIs.-based RV company, according to a press release from RV Business Solutions.

In the RV business since 1996, owner and operator Mark Merkling spent the first 20 years of his career working for Tim Wegge at Burlington RV. Under Tim’s leadership, Mark learned his model for success before opening his own RV dealership in 2015. Mark started with only two employees in a pole barn on a 1.5-acre lot. Then, in 2016 Mark purchased a 20-acre plot of land which, three years later, became his current facility.

Merkling stated. “Over the years, I have been very fortunate to assemble a truly great team of passionate RV associates who are all looking forward to joining the new ownership group, Markquart RV.”

Markquart RV President Charlee Markquart stated “It has been a pleasure getting to know Mark and his team at New Generation RV. He has built a great culture and we look forward to integrating them into our family of dealerships. This acquisition will give us our fifth location in the state of Wisconsin, helping us better serve our growing customer base.”

Since 2021, RV Business Solutions has advised on the sale of over 50 RV dealership locations totaling over $400 million in tansactional Vvalue.
