EDWARDSBURG, Mich. – “Trust is earned, and we are setting the bar high at Modern Buggy. Most teardrops and manufacturers in general choose building materials and important features based on price. We recommend to look at price last.” explains Scott Rhode with Field and Sports in a press release from Modern Buggy.

“The brand, weight, footprint size, ease of use, amps-per-hour if electrical, warranty incident rate, domestic or import availability – then price. We want to choose the best items for the RV customer, even if they cost more. Having been an insider, bigger vendors will ‘bundle price’ and give a lower price on an item in order to get the business from an independent that often times has a superior product. A few examples are Timbren, Dexter, LightLeaf Solar, Blackstone and Fogatti, which are the best at what they make, but are independent, so there is no bundle pricing.”

“We decided on Blackstone Griddles, the original griddle maker. We chose the portable model with a lid, carrying case and very unique 1-pound LP bottle instead of the generic knock-off. I don’t know of anybody else out there spending the money for this awesome set-up.!” said Earl Williams co-owner of Modern Buggy. “The Blackstone can be moved and used anywhere in the campsite or even used away from the trailer its portable, unlike our competition. There are adapters for bigger LP bottles if someone wants, but for us not carrying the weight of bigger LP bottles nor running the gas line, especially when overlanding, makes our trailers more bulletproof.”

“The MaxxFan Plus 4000K by AirXcel not only has 10 speeds and exhausts air, but intakes cool fresh air as well, which is essential for 12V cooling and overland/unplugged camping. When shopping for a trailer, look for this upgrade. Our competitors are not spending the money.” said Erin Olds, sales associate with Modern Buggy.

Chase Rhode with Field and Sports says, “When it comes to keeping your food chilled, don’t settle for anything less. We’ve tested the heck out of the 12V Camco 45L Cooler/Fridge. We have turned it off in the summer, at night, for up to 12 hours straight to see the temperature only rise from 30 to 54 F. And when turned off it also conserves your battery. Camco offers a three-year warranty, it’s far lighter at 30 lbs., LED light inside, Bluetooth operable, and multiple cooling settings with a range down to minus 4, and best of all it never needs ice. Ice is expensive and not available in many places. Camco is superior compared to a small, cheaper refrigerator, and ice only coolers like K2, Yeti, Otterbox used by our competition. Plus, the Camco is portable and can be used away from the camper and it keeps your dry foods dry, unlike coolers with melted ice water.”
