FRVTA’s Tampa Show Posts 2nd Best Attendance on Record

RIVERVIEW, Fla. – The Florida RV Trade Association (FRVTA) opened the 38th Annual 2023 Florida RV SuperShow, Wednesday, January 18 to big crowds and they kept coming right through the end of the show on Sunday, according to a press release from the organization.

While overall attendance was off  last year’s record of 84,000, over 79,000 people attended over the five days. Exhibitors reported sales as good if not better than past shows. “I think the causal shopper decided to stay home this year, but the people that came to the show, came to do business,” said Dave Kelly , FRVTA Executive Director. “Also, with so many RVs sold in the past year, we had a lot of people coming to shop all the parts and accessories that were here.”

The theme of the 2023 Florida RV SuperShow was “Let’s Hit the Road!” The phrase is the call to the start of just about every road trip. With over 1,300 RVs on display and educational seminars, the SuperShow continues to be one of RVers favorite shows.  Lots of parts were being sought in both Supplier Buildings and General RV set up a huge display of camping accessories and supplies in a store that would rival any camping supply store found anywhere.

A favorite of all visitors to the SuperShow is the free entertainment.  From clowns and unicycle riders to barbershop quartets, the SuperShow has enough entertainment to keep everyone busy the entire day.
