Founder of Neimeyer’s Trailer Sales in Minnesota Passes – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

FAIRFAX, Va. – The RV Dealers AAssociation (RVDA) regrets to inform the membership that James Charles (Jim) Niemeyer Sr., founder of Niemeyer Trailer Sales with locations in Albertville and Elko, Minn., has passed away. Founded in 1965, Niemeyer Trailer Sales now has three generations of the Niemeyer family on its staff.

Jim was an avid hunter, fisherman, and “lumberjack”, he loved to have a chainsaw in his hands cutting wood at his properties in Ten Strike, Minn.. He is survived by his wife of 63 years; Shirley; children; Jim (Barb) Lisa (Mike) Thelen, Jeff (Sandi), and Tim (Lisa) Niemeyer; grandchildren, Dustin (Amber) Katelyn, and Mitchell (Katherine) Macey; great granddaughter, Heather Joy, other family members and many friends.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday October 13, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 600 Walnut St., Farmington, Minn., with a gathering of family and friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 12 at the White Funeral Home, 901 3rd St., Farmington, also one hour prior to service at church. Private interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to Trinity Church.
