Escapees Club Announces ‘Live Camp Work’ Acquisition

LIVINGSTON, Texas – Escapees RV Club has announced the acquisition of all Live Camp Work properties including its website that is full of helpful resources, books and online courses, Work Camping 101 and Ways of Workamping, according to a release.

These resources support working RVers during their adventures of being full or part-time RVers. Over the coming months, Escapees plans to bring Live Camp Work under the Escapees umbrella and expand its own resources with those created by Live Camp Work.

Live Camp Work was founded in 2018 by Sharee Collier while she was full-time RVing with her husband and four children.

Founded in 1978, Escapees is one of the largest and most active RV clubs with over 70,000 members.

“We know the resources created by Live Camp Work will be a perfect complement to the other content currently offered to our Escapees and Xscapers communities. Escapees RV Club and Live Camp Work are both dedicated to educating and supporting RVers making this a perfect fit,” explained Escapees RV Club Vice President & co-CEO, Melanie Carr. “With Sharee joining the Escapees team in a full-time capacity, we know the products will continue to grow and provide benefit to the RVing community.”

The founder of Live Camp Work, Sharee Collier, joined Escapees RV Club as a Special Projects Manager concurrently with the acquisition and will help oversee the incorporation of Live Camp Work into Escapees.

Sharee Collier stated, “I’m thrilled to see Live Camp Work find a new home with the Escapees family where it will continue to grow while providing much needed information and inspiration for working RVers”

Sharee will also focus on growth and development for the RVer Job Exchange. This resource connects working RVers with job opportunities along their travels. Xscapers is a particular focus as this group within Escapees is rapidly growing with its appeal to working aged RVers. “We want to continue to expand our resources for this community and provide more overall value for our membership” Travis Carr, President & co-CEO of Escapees RV Club stated.
