WATCH: Two Deer Get Into a Fight in a New York Backyard

A couple of deer in the Hudson Valley had some stuff to work out, and they didn’t care who was watching. They started brawling in Michael Adam Acevedo’s backyard, and he was there to capture the deer fight on video. The deer don’t have much at their disposal for fighting—no antlers and no claws. To “fight,” they rear up on their hind legs and whack each other with their hooves.

“A front row seat to the fights in my backyard this afternoon,” wrote Acevedo when he shared his home video to The Hudson Valley Facebook group page. Other group members chime in about how they’ve never seen this happen before. One person notes that the two deer look like “drunk men in a nightclub.”

It’s not a bloody battle by any means, but the two deer certainly seem to have something they’re trying to settle.
