Watch Teaser: ‘She-Hulk’ Tatiana Maslany Takes on Laramie Mountains in Running Wild Finale
She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany told Bear Grylls that she always wanted to be an actress in the upcoming finale of Running Wild: The Challenge.
In the clip, as Grylls and Maslany walk through the Laramie Mountains in Wyoming, she reveals that she grew up in Saskatchewan, but she never really adopted an outdoorsy lifestyle.
“No, not a lot of outdoorsiness,” she said and added, “Just like a lot of theater. A lot of like young people theater and improv.”
Maslany explained to Grylls that she knew at the age of nine that she wanted to be an actress. “I don’t think I was like ‘I’m gonna do this the rest of my life,’ I was like ‘I love this’ and I found the love of it at that age,” she said.
In an interview with Outdoors.com, Grylls called the episode with Maslany one of his favorites because she’s “a ball of positivity” even while doing one of the toughest challenges of the entire season.
Grylls explained that amid negative 20-degree temperatures, they both stripped down to their skivvies and jumped into some freezing water. “She was really nervous, but up for it, and tackled it with that She-Hulk spirit,” he said.
Find out why they did it on the season finale of Running Wild: The Challenge on the National Geographic channel at 9 p.m. ET on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2023.
