WATCH: Oops, Grizzly Bear Finds Itself Surrounded by Wolves
Nate Udd is a Bozeman, Montana-based wildlife guide and artist who finds inspiration in nearby Yellowstone National Park. He recently posted a video showing wolves surrounding and harassing a “bad*ss” one-eared grizzly bear. What do you think happens next?

Udd says his video is from last summer, but he hasn’t posted it until now. The bear was apparently trying to butt in on the wolves’ meal—a dead bison—but, instead of a free handout, the bear got a handful of “butt bites.”
“The wolves weren’t in the mood to share, and worked together to harass him to the point where he headed back up the hill,” Udd wrote in his Instagram caption sharing the video. “Not the first or only time I’ve seen stuff like this, but having my favorite wolf pack take on my favorite grizzly was pretty amazing. Watching the coordination of wolves is always fascinating. Grizzlies also know how to put a stop to the butt bites: just sit down.”
