WATCH: Eerie Footage of a Crocodile Swimming Underwater

Franco Fabio isn’t afraid to swim with crocs. He’s posted several first-person videos of the animals on Instagram, and most people in the comments section are glad it’s him and not them. One video in particular from Jardines de la Reina, an archipelago in the southern part of Cuba, shows a crocodile slowly swimming by Fabio underwater, and it’s a bit eerie.

Even Fabio admits he’s at the crocs’ mercy when he’s swimming with these massive reptiles. In response to a comment asking how he is able to get so close to them, he wrote: “Of course I focus on my heartbeat [,] the lower it is the more in control of myself I am, there is [not] much to do to ‘protect’ yourself with a croc.”

In another post showing an up-close view of a croc underwater, he wrote: “I’m too insane to explain and you’re too normal to understand.” Touché, Fabio, touché.
