WATCH: Croc and Shark Battle for Territory in Australia

“Tell me you’re in Australia without telling me you’re in Australia,” jokes one commenter on Vincent Bates’s viral TikTok video showing a shark swimming by a croc. In the footage, a lemon shark swims next to a crocodile, which is sitting motionless in the shallow surf. The shark then joins several other lemon sharks a short distance away from the croc. Bates is a professional skipper and fishing guide, and he says this took place in his “front yard.”

Apparently, this scene is quite normal for Bates. He has shared similar videos since this one went viral.
