Winnebago’s EKKO has always been an outstanding option for active travelers, offering unparalleled versatility and efficiency on the road and at the campsite. But for 2024, the company is taking things to a new level with the introduction of the EKKO Sprinter. Built on the iconic Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platform from which it draws its name, this latest addition to Winnebago’s EKKO lineup delivers enhanced performance and capabilities, along with more living and storage space.

The video above takes us on a tour of the latest EKKO while highlighting some of the enhancements that come with the Sprinter chassis. Those include a best-in-class 2.0L turbo diesel engine, higher ground clearance, and an all-wheel drive system that is second to none. All of this gives the RV some serious off-road chops, allowing it to reach remote campsites with confidence and style.

The interior of the EKKO Sprinter is no less impressive. It features a well-equipped galley complete with a microwave/convection oven combo, a large sink, plenty of storage, and a portable single-burner induction cooktop for meal prep in or out of the vehicle. The primary sleeping area has room to sleep two comfortably and is equipped with a wardrobe and under-bed storage. LED reading lights and USB charging ports are thoughtfully included.

A multi-use living space is one of the highlights of the EKKO Sprinter. The area offers flexible configurations that can quickly and easily shift to meet the owner’s changing needs. It reconfigures into a U-shaped dinette with room for five adults and also converts into two side sofas or a guest bed. That same area provides passenger seating for two with seatbelts included.

Other enhancements come courtesy of the Mercedes MBUX infotainment system, which includes onboard navigation, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The EKKO Sprinter also comes with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, a digital rearview mirror, and other driver-assist features.
