Video: How the Alliance Delta Travel Trailer Went From Concept to Reality
Alliance RV is known for making some of the best fifth-wheels on the road, with the Paradigm, Valor, and Avenue models all receiving critical acclaim. So when the brand decided to dip its toe into the travel trailer market, it knew expectations would be running high. To live up to the lofty standards it had set for itself, company designers went back to the drawing board to create something completely new. The result is the Delta, a towable deserving of the Alliance name.
The video above not only gives us a glimpse of the Delta travel trailer itself but also pulls back the curtain on the company’s design process. Alliance’s experienced team took everything they learned from making fifth-wheels—not to mention years of personal experience camping—and applied it to their latest model. That includes the company’s signature build quality and innovative design.
Perhaps more importantly, the Alliance team connected with fans and customers online to find out what they wanted and needed from an RV. Many of those thoughts, opinions, and insights were considered when creating the new towable. Small touches, like an extra-wide rear ladder that doubles as a place to hang wet clothing and towels, resulted from those conversations.
Available in seven floorplans, the Delta ranges in length from 29’ 3” to 36’ 11” and weighs between 6,159 lbs. and 8,253 lbs. Individual models seem tailor-made for traveling couples, RVing retirees, and families. Three of the floorplans are bunkhouse models with room for your entire crew. Multiple slide-outs add additional space at the campsite, creating a roomy interior with thoughtful designs. Other nice touches include 40” and 50” smart TVs, electric fireplaces, residential-size refrigerators, and abundant onboard storage.
Watch the video above to learn more about how Alliance thought outside the box when designing and building the Delta travel trailer. Not only will it give you an appreciation of how these projects come together, but it’ll also help you understand the challenges that RV manufacturers face when creating a new model.
Pricing for the Alliance Delta travel trailer starts at $47,995. For more information, visit the company’s website.
