One of the trends we’ve seen recently in the RV market is an increasing number of models coming with a rear deck. Now, to be clear, decks and porches aren’t a new feature, but in the past they’ve usually been found on toy haulers, converting the rear cargo ramp into usable outdoor space. But now, they’re starting to pop up on other types of travel trailers and fifth-wheels, too, adding a design element that is fun, functional, and unique. Such is the case with the 2025 Dutchmen Aspen Trail 3200WAP, which looks like a winner for a number of reasons.

The video above takes us on a tour of the Aspen Trail 3200WAP floor plan. In this case, the “WAP” in the name refers to the “walk-around porch,” which is definitely a distinct feature. While the deck on this model isn’t quite as big as some we’ve seen on the aforementioned toy haulers or popular destination models, it is still plenty spacious. It also includes a set of three outdoor stools and a bar, which only adds to the appeal. A pass-through window makes it easy to send food and drinks in and out of the RV’s kitchen, turning the area into an indoor/outdoor space that has to be seen to be believed. The covered porch even includes mood-setting LED lighting and an outdoor sound system to further enhance the experience.
You’ll find a number of pleasant surprises inside the travel trailer as well, starting with a well-equipped kitchen that includes a three-burner stove, an oven, microwave, double-basin sink, and residential refrigerator/freezer. The nearby living room features theater seating, a moveable ottoman with a hidden pop-up table, a large smart TV, and a fireplace. A Murphy bed also folds down from the wall, adding extra sleep space for guests.

Wander further back, and you’ll discover a massive bathroom that includes a factory-installed washer/dryer combo unit, a glass-enclosed walk-in shower with wooden bench, and a porcelain toilet. Finally, the primary bedroom at the front of the trailer has a queen-size bed, lots of storage, and a private entrance/exit. It all comes together to create a very livable space that’s perfect for couples, small families, road warriors, and full-timers.
