Video Buyer’s Guide: Travel Trailers with Front Kitchens

The RV kitchen has come a long way in recent years. New floorplans, more efficient appliances, and high-quality materials have taken this previously often-overlooked space and transformed it into one of the most open and modern areas in the vehicle. Because of this, manufacturers are now going to great lengths to create an amazing cooking experience inside all of their RV models, ranging from entry-level travel trailers all the way up to high-end motorhomes.

The video above demonstrates this shift in design focus nicely. It takes us inside four very different travel trailers that all have one thing in common—a front kitchen. The clip shows us how Forest River and Keystone RV utilize the available space inside their towables in different ways, creating unique environments and experiences in the process. Which one works for you depends on your needs, but all four are surprisingly capable of making amazing meals at the campground.

The four RVs that appear in the video include the Forest River Flagstaff Micro Lite 25FKBS and Flagstaff Classic 826MBR, the Keystone Outback Ultra-Lite 271UFK, and Passport GT 2600FK. Each of those is on the smaller and lighter end of the towable space, but offer cozy interiors with some really interesting and unique features that help them stand out.
