Video: Airstream’s New Atlas Touring Coach is Beautiful Inside and Out
Airstream’s iconic travel trailers are so famous and recognizable that it’s easy to forget that the company also makes outstanding motorized RVs. We were recently reminded of this thanks to the video above, which spotlights the all-new 2025 Airstream Atlas, a touring coach that sets a new standard for small motorhomes.
As you would expect, the Atlas showcases Airstream’s trademark build quality, exhibiting precision craftsmanship inside and out. The coach, which the company describes as a “Class B+”, rides on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter platform and sports a custom Air Ride suspension that gives it a smooth, comfortable ride. Other nice touches include a factory-installed Starlink antenna, a powered armless awning, automatic entry steps, and an array of onboard safety features like cross-traffic and blind spot alerts, automatic lane keep, and more.
The Atlas holds the distinction of being Airstream’s first coach to include a power slide-out. This allows it to remain sleek and streamlined on the road but expand with additional space at the campground. A plush, comfortable coach sits in the slide, opposite a 40″ Samsung smart TV that rises out of a stylish cabinet on a televator. At night, a pull-down Murphy bed provides a cozy place to sleep, converting the same area into a bedroom.
A residential-style bathroom occupies the entire rear of the vehicle, offering privacy and space. It includes a porcelain toilet, a luxurious shower, a vanity, and a linen closet. A modest galley kitchen equipped with a convection microwave, mini-fridge, Kohler faucet, and solid-surface countertops rounds out the amenities.
One of the Atlas’s most intriguing features is Airstream’s new E1 package. This optional upgrade gives the coach more energy independence, allowing it to more easily camp off the grid for longer periods. The package includes a massive 12,000Wh lithium battery pack and a 3,200W pure sine wave inverter. Those power cells are connected to a Victron 100-20 solar charge controller, dual 30A DC-DC converters, and a 51V/6,900W secondary alternator to charge the entire system. That’s enough to power the Timberline 2.0 hydronic heating and hot water system and the 1,100W single burner induction cooktop that also comes with this upgrade.
Check out the video above to see all of these features in action and get a better sense of everything the Atlas has to offer. This amazing motorcoach has a starting price of $312,900. To find out more, visit the Airstream website.
