Truma Interconnect Brings Efficient Heating and Cooling to RVs

After unveiling its latest products at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, PA, Truma continues its roadshow at the Elkhart RV Dealer Open House event. There, the OEM parts manufacturer is showing off its Interconnect package of heating, cooling, and hot water systems to a growing number of RV manufacturers. These products will make their way into new motorhomes and travel trailers, bringing a more comfortable camping experience.

Truma says that in 2023 several RV manufacturers will implement its two-piece and three-piece suites of heating and cooling products. The two-piece system includes the Truma Combi combination water heater and furnace, paired with the Aventa rooftop air conditioner. Alternatively, the three-piece Truma Interconnect packages feature the Truma AquaGo instant water heater, VarioHeat furnace, and Aventa rooftop AC.

Both configurations include the Truma CP Plus control panel integrated directly into the RV. The CP functions much like a smarthome thermostat, automatically activating the furnace and air conditioner as needed. It also allows owners to control the functionality of their water heaters from the same panel without the need for a separate system.

“Reliable heating, cooling, and hot water are crucial to an enjoyable camping experience. It says a lot about our products and reputation that so many manufacturers trust us with all three systems. We take great pride in that,” Truma VP of Sales and Strategic Business Development Harold Ogden said in a press release.
