TruckHouse Partners with American Expedition Vehicles

The Sierra Nevada-based company, TruckHouse has recently announced the launch of their newest 4WD camper, the BCR, and if the artist renderings are anything to go by, this vehicle is going to be a genuine globe touring tour de force, according to reporting by Graeme Bell at ExpeditionPortal.com.

The state-of-the-art vehicle results from a collaboration between TruckHouse and American Expedition Vehicles (AEV), a well-respected manufacturer of OEM-quality expedition parts and vehicles. With a focus on ingenuity, performance and design, the BCR aims to set a new standard in the industry.

TruckHouse made its debut in 2021 with the revolutionary BCT, a mid-sized expedition vehicle featuring a carbon fiber house mounted on a highly modified Toyota Tacoma chassis. The BCT garnered tremendous attention and quickly sold out. In search of its next platform, TruckHouse chose the Prospector XL due to its exceptional off-road capabilities and proven durability. What started as a mere idea soon evolved into a design collaboration between the two companies, driven by their shared commitment to quality and design. AEV’s design team contributed their expertise to enhance the house’s exterior.

The BCR is designed to offer a high standard of luxury and livability while retaining reliability and off-road prowess. Its fully redesigned vacuum-infused monocoque house is creatively connected to the truck chassis through a carbon fiber reinforced torsion-free mounting system; the BCR blends striking aesthetic design with cutting-edge composite manufacturing techniques.
