TrailManor Breaks Ground on 62,000 SF Facility in S.D. – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
TrailManor is growing! The only hard sided pop-up expandable RV manufacturer, according to the company release, TrailManor broke ground last May 2023 on a new 62,000-square-foot facility in Parkston, S.D. TrailManor corporate offices will be located at the same site.
The framing is up and will be closed in by winter 2023. Spring 2024 is the anticipated move-in date.
TrailManor National Sales & Marketing Director Bob Douglas mentioned that the new location will have more than double the production capacity and allow a specified area for research and development. The additional space will provide for an expanded parts department and a staging area for finished RVs. Furthermore, a designated service bay will be available for specialty repairs for on the road TrailManor owners or insurance claims.
TrailManor forecasts that by streamlining its processes and utilizing state-of-the-art technology that the company will be able to more than double the size of its highly talented staff.

TrailManor has been in business over 40 years and specializes in light weight hard sided foldable travel trailers that can be towed with suvs and small trucks with towing capacities between 3500 and 5000 pounds. These lightweight travel trailers can be stored in a garage and are very easy to tow. It only takes about about one extra gallon of gas to tow a TrailManor 100 miles.
TrailManor currently builds 12 different floorplans with two new models debuting at the Elkhart Dealer Open House, which will mark a first in TrailManor’s history building Sport models designed for hunters, fishermen and outdoor enthusiasts. TrailManor will be located north of Executive Parkway leading to Lippert Corporate offices.
