For the second year in a row, we had the opportunity to spend a weekend with the Women Ice Angler Project. They’re a group based in Minnesota that generates awareness and recognition of women ice anglers. They spend a lot of time educating newcomers, which means a lot of time sitting on the ice.
In this video, they’re sharing their favorite chairs to spend an afternoon in while ice fishing. Shantel Wittstruck is partial to the GCI Outdoor MaxRelax Pod Rocker because the padded fabric adds a little warmth on chilly afternoons. The GCI RoadTrip Rocker is Shelly Holland’s go-to ice fishing chair because the hard armrests make it easy to get up, which happens a lot in ice fishing if the bite is on.
