‘The Motorcoach Store’ Buys $18.3M Bradenton Headquarters – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
SARASOTA, Fla. – The Motorcoach Store, a luxury motorcoach and RV dealership, has purchased a 139,904-square-foot industrial property in Bradenton, Fla., for $18.3 million, according to a release. The property, located at 5821 24th Street E., will serve as the national headquarters and allow the company to launch The Motorcoach Club, a full-service storage and concierge service for luxury, Class-A diesel RV owners.
Nick DeVito II, SIOR, and Brie Tulp, RPA, of Ian Black Real Estate represented the buyer. Steve Horn, CCIM, and Melissa Harris, SIOR, of Ian Black Real Estate represented the seller, Avon Cabinet Corporation.
The Motorcoach Store has operated out of an 18,300-square-foot space located at 3231 59th Street East in Brandenton for the last 13 years.
“The Motorcoach Store outgrew its current location several years ago,” said Brie Tulp, RPA, sales associate at Ian Black Real Estate. “However, given the limited inventory of industrial space of this size, they had difficulty finding a suitable replacement. This property is the perfect fit, given the size, location and layout of the building.”
The property is centrally located between downtown Bradenton and Sarasota International Airport. It includes 7,500 square feet of office space and a 100,000-square-foot production area with 22-foot ceilings at the peak and 18-foot ceilings at the eaves.
The Motorcoach Store will complete a multi-million dollar renovation to create a full-service luxury RV dealership with 16 service bays, and in-house cabinet, upholstery and glass shops. In addition, there will be indoor storage available for 88 luxury, Class-A diesel RVs.
Storage will be available to members of The Motorcoach Club, a full-service concierge service for luxury, Class-A diesel RV owners. The Motorcoach Club members will have access to VIP service appointments and a white-glove valet service offering RV delivery and pickup anywhere in the country.
“We’re looking forward to making this space our own and building what will be the most advanced facility in the country for luxury Class-A diesel RVs,” said Bradley Twait, founder of The Motorcoach Store. “The additional space will allow us to offer an end-to-end experience for luxury RV enthusiasts and provide the high level of service and experience that luxury RVers have come to expect.”
The Motorcoach Store expects to complete renovations early next year.
