The Coolest Things We Saw at the Hershey RV Show
The largest RV show in America is taking place right now in Hershey, PA, where more than 50,000 people have gathered to celebrate the RV industry. Over the next few days, attendees will have the chance to check out the latest and greatest vehicles, products, and innovations on display there. Those range from unique new motorhomes and travel trailers to advances in technology, materials, and design.
We spent the last two days wandering the show, searching for the most exciting new RVs and interesting trends the industry has to offer. During our time in Hershey, we saw dozens of motor coaches, camper vans, fifth-wheels, and towables bringing fresh ideas and features to eager RVers. These are our favorite things that we found there.

Winnebago Access
The recently-announced Winnebago Access stood out for a number of reasons. Not only is it made from high-quality materials and comes with an outstanding list of standard features, but it also has a starting MSRP of under $30,000. Add in Winnebago’s reputation for great service and support, and you get a new travel trailer that should appeal to a wide audience, while making RV camping more accessible, too.

Leisure Travel Vans
Hershey gave us the first opportunity to check out the luxury RVs offered by Leisure Travel Van, and we didn’t go away disappointed. This company is making some of the most interesting, comfortable, and well-appointed Class C models on the market, deftly blending technology and clever design to create floorplans unlike anything we’ve seen before. The interiors are bright, airy, and plush, with many options to choose from. It was easy to see why these vehicles are in such high demand.

Brinkley RV Toy Hauler and Fifth-Wheel
There has been a lot of hype surrounding Brinkley RV over the past few years, and for good reason. The company was founded by industry vets, which set expectations exceedingly high. In Hershey, we had the chance to check out the Model Z fifth-wheel and Model G toy hauler for ourselves and came away very impressed. These models are setting a new high watermark for luxurious floorplans and amenities. We can’t wait to see what Brinkley does next.

Airstream Trade Wind and Interstate 19X
Airstream announced two new additions to its line-up at the Hershey show, with both the Trade Wind travel trailer and Interstate 19X camper van making headlines. These models use advanced solar power systems to make boondocking easier and more accessible than ever. And as you would expect, they exhibit Airstream’s legendary build quality, ensuring many years of travel opportunities and outdoor adventure.

EcoFlow Mobile Power Kits
EcoFlow announced its RV-specific power kits months ago, but now they are being embraced throughout the industry. The company offers an easy-to-install solution that integrates solar panels, battery packs, smart control panels, and other components, taking all the complexity out of staying charged and functioning on the road. The kits are available as an aftermarket add-on, but an increasing number of RV manufacturers are adding them to their vehicles, too. The result is nothing short of revolutionary.

Phoenix USA/Volta Power Collaboration
Speaking of mobile power solutions, Phoenix USA RV and Volta Power System announced a collaboration at Hershey that could provide a glimpse of the future. The Class C manufacturer is integrating Volta’s lithium batteries, solar panels, and power controllers to create vehicles that can run appliances, lights, and even overnight air conditioning without the use of shorepower or a generator. This opens the doors for camping in more isolated and beautiful locations.

Camping World’s Eddie Bauer Travel Trailers
It’s hard to stand out in the ultra-competitive travel trailer space, but Camping World is working with outdoor brand Eddie Bauer to do just that. The first models from this joint project were on display in Hershey, where visitors found fresh, bright, and open interiors with plenty of features and amenities. The towables are comfortable and fun, which is usually a recipe for success in the RV space.

Jayco’s Terrain Off-Road Camper Van
One of the models we were most excited to see at the RV show was the Jayco Terrain Class B camper van. The vehicle is Jayco’s first off-road-focused model, giving it an affordable entry into this fast-growing market segment. Riding on the Mercedes Sprinter platform, the vehicle offers both excellent capabilities and accessibility. Taller campers may find it a bit cramped, but we’re hoping a future model may provide a bit of extra space.

Aliner Reveals Solar-Powered A-Frame
A-frame campers are small, lightweight, and easy to tow while still offering lots of interior space. Aliner makes some of the best A-frames on the market, and in Hershey, they added a new model to that lineup. The new Aliner Amp breaks new ground by being the first foldable model powered by solar. The unit allows owners to cut the cord, thanks to a 48-volt power system with a 5kWh lithium battery pack, opening the doors for dry camping in remote locations.

Lance Camper Eunduro
Speaking of towables that stand out in the crowd, the Enduro from Lance Camper continues to draw plenty of attention. Sure, the off-road travel trailer has been available for a few months, but its rugged design, well-thought-out floorplans, and clever use of space continue to impress. If you’re looking to go off-grid or join the growing ranks of overlanders, this is the model for you.
This is just a hint of all of the things we saw in our two days at Hershey. After spending time there, it is easy to understand why it is a popular show for RVers. If you’re interested in seeing the latest models before they arrive on dealer lots, it is a great place to be. And if you’re in the market for a new RV, it is tough to beat the deals on offer at the event.
