Sentencing complete in 2022 Pennsylvania poaching case involving 26 whitetails – Outdoor News

Three Westmoreland County, Pa., individuals have been sentenced for killing 26 white-tailed deer during a two-month poaching spree in the county in October and November 2022.
Chase Piper, 20, of Derry Township, and Angelica Morgan, 19, of Bolivar, received six months’ probation and $1,600 in fines, and Michael T. Matson Jr., 21, of Bolivar, was sentenced to one to two years in state prison for possessing a firearm he was prohibited from having because of prior convictions, according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
