MARYLAND HEIGHTS, Mo. – Schattdecor announced the promotion of Philipp Uschold to National Sales Manager – Finished Surfaces, effective May 1. This strategic move underscores Schattdecor’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the lacquered surfaces sector, particularly in the fast-evolving furniture, and kitchen & cabinet markets.
Uschold began his journey with Schattdecor in 2016 as an apprentice in Thansau, Germany. Following the completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in International Business Management, he advanced through roles in Sales Finish Foil and Sales Impregnation, bringing deep product knowledge and a global perspective to every stage of his career.
Since relocating to the U.S. in 2024 as an Account Executive, Uschold has made a significant impact—earning recognition for his customer-centric approach and for leading training initiatives within the Foil Sales department. His leadership, combined with his international experience and technical insight, positions him perfectly to drive growth and profitability in Schattdecor’s Finished Surfaces business across North America.

In his new role, Uschold will oversee the Foil Account Team and the entire Foil Sales Support team, continuing to advance Schattdecor’s reputation as a trusted partner to manufacturers in the furniture, kitchen & cabinets, doors & panels, and RV industries.
Additionally, the RV Business segment will now report directly to Bastian Kastner, Director of Strategic Accounts, whose deep expertise in the RV industry ensures continuity for both customers and the RV sales team.
