RVWA Touts Success of All-Female Tech Class at Brinkley – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

ELKHART, Ind. – The RV Women’s Alliance Charitable Foundation (RVWACF) is proud to announce the successful completion of their all-female RV Systems training class, held in partnership with Brinkley RV. This event brought together an empowered group of women from across various departments of Brinkley RV to gain hands-on training and certification in RV systems, marking another milestone in RVWACF’s mission to elevate, educate and promote women in the RV industry.
Hosted at Brinkley RV’s cutting-edge facility in Goshen, Ind., the intensive training program covered essential RV systems including electrical, propane, plumbing, appliances, and more. Over the course of the week, participants received expert instruction, worked collaboratively in a supportive environment, and built the confidence and skills needed to thrive in their roles.
The class was championed by Brittany Raderstorf with Brinkley RV who said, “Investing in training opportunities is about more than just learning technical skills; it’s about empowering our team to grow in confidence, capability, and connection to the RVs we build. It was important to me that we support this initiative because continuous learning fuels innovation, and this training gave our team in-depth knowledge that will benefit their work and the customer experience.”
“We are thrilled by the momentum this program continues to generate,” said Jessica Rider, RVTI Master Certified Technician and trainer of this course. “This class is more than technical education—it’s reassurance that women will thrive in every corner of this industry, including the more technical areas. Watching these women dive into systems training with enthusiasm and drive has been truly inspiring.”
Brinkley RV’s commitment to hosting and supporting this initiative exemplifies a growing dedication across the RV industry to invest in talent and create more leadership opportunities. “I felt that this class was incredibly helpful in giving me the science and the building blocks to RV systems as a whole. I loved that we were able to apply what we had learned in real time during our labs to help solidify the processes.” Said Victoria VanGilder, class participant.
Graduates of the program earned RVTI Level 1 Certification upon satisfactory test completion, paving the way for new opportunities within their current and future roles. With another successful class now complete, RVWACF plans to expand its training initiative to reach even more women in 2025 and beyond, with new locations and expanded curriculum on the horizon.
