RVTI Participates in Career & Technical Education Event – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) recently attended the Association for Career and Technical Education’s Region 5 Annual Conference, which took place May 1-3 in Las Vegas, Nev., according to a News & Insights report by the RV Industry Association (RVIA)
The Association for Career and Technical Education is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of education that prepares youth and adults for career and technical education (CTE). The core purpose is to provide leadership in developing an educated, prepared, adaptable and competitive workforce.
The Association for Career and Technical Education is made up of five separate regions that cover the United States. This most recent conference, which focused on the fifth region, covered professional development and networking opportunities for CTE professionals in North Dakota, Wyoming, Washington, Utah, South Dakota, Oregon, Nevada, Nebraska, Alaska, Montana, Kansas, Idaho, Colorado, Arizona, California, Hawaii, and Guam.
The RV Technical Institute attended the conference to connect with the audience and share information on the Institute’s curriculum. By participating in events like this, the RV Technical Institute furthers its recruitment initiative and aims to inspire more individuals to embark on the RV technician career path. (Previously, with this same goal in mind, the Institute also attended the Region 4 Conference, which took place at the end of April in Oklahoma City, OK.)
“The Association for Career and Technical Education Conferences provided excellent opportunities to engage with individuals interested in the RV technician career and our program,” says Halle Howard, the RV Technical Institute’s Account Specialist. “We’ve received encouraging interest at the last two events, including from those already aware of our field. We are always happy to share information about our curriculum, and we look forward to continued connection with potential future RV technicians at the next Association for Career and Technical Education conferences later this year.”
