RVIA Delivers Realistic, Optimistic Message at ’23 Meeting – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

The RV Industry Association (RVIA) held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, the 2023 Annual Meeting. In a series of video presentations and a Q&A session at the end, the virtual event is the primary membership-wide meeting for the Reston, Va.-based group that represents approximately 500 manufacturers and component and aftermarket suppliers who together produce 98% of all RVs made in the United States and approximately 60% of all RVs produced worldwide.

In summary, RVIA, RV Technical Institute (RVTI) and Go RVing officials acknowledged the challenging year that 2023 has been, but pointed to the overwhelmingly positive long-term outlook as the RV industry is poised to continue to benefit from a number of factors, including the embracing of the RV lifestyle as a means to enjoy the surging popularity of outdoor recreation. In addition, officials presented their respective goals for 2024, which include focusing on RVIA’s signature programs such as reducing repair event cycle time, advocating on the industry’s behalf, and self-regulation, to name only a few.

The separate videos below are the presentations from RVIA Chair Kevin McArt, RVIA President Craig Kirby, Go RVing Chief Marketing Officer Karen Redfern, and RVTI Executive Director Curt Hemmeler.
