RVIA: 16 Million Americans Plan to Go RVing over Labor Day – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

With cooler weather, fewer bugs, and fall festivities at campgrounds beginning, over 16 million Americans plan to Go RVing this coming Labor Day Weekend and 38 million Americans plan to have some kind of RV experience this fall, according to the RV Industry Association (RVIA). Millennials have the highest RV travel intention for the fall with 40% saying they definitely will take an RV trip this fall.

Continuing the work from the road trend, 19% of leisure travelers have worked from an RV in the past year and 29% say they are considering working from an RV in the coming year. Millennials show the greatest intention to work from an RV in the coming year (59%) followed by Gen Z (44%) then Gen X (35%).
