RVers Heading to Multi-Day Solar ‘EclipseFest23’ in Oregon

KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. –  RVers and tent campers from around the country will be making their way to EclipseFest23 for a major solar eclipse event and immersive festival experience, Oct. 10-15, 2023, near Crater Lake National Park, in Klamath County. Innovative campground booking platform, Spot2Nite, will feature prominently – both as the ticketing platform partner, and top-level sponsor of the main EclipseFest23 campground.

Centered around the once-in-a-generation annular eclipse happening on Oct. 14, the event hosts five days of camping, as well as three days of festival activities, food & drink, plus vendors and artisans. On Saturday, attendees will enjoy the continued festival atmosphere, along with the main event – viewing of the annular solar eclipse. Later that evening, late 90s pop band Smash Mouth will rock the festival venue with their hits that will appeal to all ages.

Northern Klamath County, home to Crater Lake National Park, offers unobstructed views of this year’s annular eclipse and the opportunity to share the experience with other eclipse chasers, families, campers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The site of the festival boasts nearly 4-and-a-half minutes of eclipse viewing, among the highest in the narrow eclipse path. This is Oregon’s last major eclipse of the generation. No other eclipse will be viewable in North America (after the southern-to-east-coast total eclipse in 2024) for 26 years.

RV and Tent camping sites can be reserved for October 10–15, with early bird prices ranging from $160–$350. Plus, All-Festival Passes will provide access to the festival, vendors and artisans, food and drink, the eclipse-watching party, and a Smash Mouth concert, all at the Early Bird price of $120. Individual festival day and concert tickets are also available at www.EclipseFest23.com, with all ticket sales being powered by the Spot2Nite platform.

“Spot2Nite’s booking technology is built for innovation and our partnership with EclipseFest 2023 showcases new capabilities within the event arena,” says Terry Broussard, co-founder and CEO of Spot2Nite. “While our platform has always provided a streamlined reservation experience for RV travelers, we now have the functionality to offer festival and fair hosts an expanded tech package which includes building campsite grids on what is typically rural land, as well as uniquely-tracked event tickets for online booking through Spot2Nite.”

Sara Irvine, EclipseFest23 organizer says “We are beyond excited to partner with Spot2Nite for all areas of booking for our event. Their platform is the perfect fit for us as we cater to RVers, concert-goers, and eclipse chasers.”

There are several sponsorship packages available for EclipseFest23, providing the opportunity for RV and camping-related brands to reach a targeted audience, at this exciting, high-profile, multi-day live event.
