RV Lifestyle Show ‘The RVers’ Sweep Annual Telly Awards – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

The RVers, an RV lifestyle show, has recently been honored with a string of prestigious Telly Awards. These include a Gold in the TV Series: Education and Discover category, a Silver in the TV Series: Culture and Lifestyle category, and a Bronze in the Travel and Tourism category.

This recognition is a testament to the show’s quality and ability to captivate audiences, especially considering it was chosen from over 13,000 entries.

Now in production for its sixth season, The RVers features a variety of topics based on viewers’ feedback. Some examples of recent content include caravanning in Europe, four-season camping, a look at luxury RVs, extreme RVing, RV rentals, and touring Mexico’s Baja and whale watching. Show creator and executive producer Anthony Nalli encourages dialogue primarily through the show’s Facebook page.

With nearly six years of filming under his belt, RVBusiness asked Nalli to compare the RV industry today versus just a few years ago.

“It’s no secret that the mad RVing frenzy has come back down to earth,” Nalli observed. “But while companies strategically ponder their bottom lines, it is important to remember that people are RVing more than ever and looking for value and customer satisfaction wherever they can find it.”

Regarding the new season – Season 6 – Nalli could not release many details as it is still in production. However, he shared that Chris and Aaron Willers of Irene Iron Travels, touring in their Alliance Paradigm fifth wheel, will join long-time hosts Peter Knize and John Sullivan (The RV Geeks), as well as Cait and Tom Morton (Mortons on the Move).

Over the years, The RVers has been graced by various RVing superstars, each bringing their unique perspectives and experiences to the show. From Cherie Ve Ard and Chris Dunphy (Technomadia) to Heath and Alyssa Padgett, Marc and Julie Bennett (RV Love) to Brian and Melissa Purcell (RV with Tito), Jeff and Deb Spencer to Cortni Armstrong, these personalities have become familiar faces in the RV community. According to Nalli, there’s more to come from them in the future.

Season 5 of The RVers is about to premiere on RVTV, with the release date to be announced soon. The summer airing will be on Destination America starting Sunday, July 7, at 8:30 a.m. ET.

Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, November 24, at 8:30 a.m. on Discovery’s Destination America network, six weeks after an encore airing of season 5. At about the same time in November, it will air on PBS, Fun Roads TV, RVTV, and Wild TV (Canada).

Founded in 1979, the Telly Awards annually showcases the best work created within television and across video, for all screens. Receiving over 12,000 entries globally from 6 continents and all 50 states, Telly Award winners represent work from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies and publishers from around the world, according to information from the organization.
