RV Industry, Ronald McDonald House Set for 2023 ‘McDazzle’ – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

2022 Kilted Victor’s; the team from East to West RV, a division of Forest River, led by Lisa Rees.

This year’s “ticket only” event, McDazzle Featuring Kilts for Kids, is planned for the evening of Thursday, Oct. 5, at the all-new facilities of the Four Winds Casino in South Bend, Ind., according to a release.

Sponsors of the event include Jayco along with notable RV Industry suppliers Lippert Components and Airxcel.  RV companies and personnel have a long history, along with several other high-profile industry partners, of participating in, and supporting Kilts for Kids and McDazzle over its 14-year history. This is the largest fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana.

Last year’s “Kilted Victor” was the East to West RV Team, led by Lisa Rees.

“Every dollar raised through the efforts of the “Kids for Kilts” teams and the McDazzle event stays in Michiana,” stated Kierstin Eifler, chief executive officer of RMHC Michiana. “Largely due to the new venue at Four Winds and the increase in demand for tables and tickets, the 2023 McDazzle gala will likely be the largest attendance ever for this event with over 500 seats reserved. We continue to be blessed with support throughout the region, notably from the RV Industry.”

The Ronald McDonald House in South Bend serves families throughout North Central Indiana and Southwest Michigan at its 20-room facility connected to the Beacon Children’s Hospital.  RMHC provides overnight lodging, meals, and private space to families with ill or injured children, all at no cost to the families. This year, RMHC Michiana will serve over 350 families by providing more than 3,500 overnight stays and more than 8,000 meals. These services ease the burden of illness and injury of their children

Nancy Salwin, RMHC Michiana Director of Sponsorship and Events, reports that seven high-profile and high-energy teams are competing in 2023, including a team from Lippert Components and a team that includes Grand Design Product Manager, Logan McBride.  Salwin also indicated that the McDazzle Gala event is a sell-out with no more tables or seats remaining.  Despite that, voting remains open, and supporters are encouraged to vote for their favorite team and help raise funds for this incredible cause.
