In a communication Wednesday (March 1) to its members, officials announced that RVillage would be closing on March 31, 2023. RVillage is part of Roadpass Digital, a suite of apps and websites for RVers and campers that also includes Roadtrippers, Togo RV and Campendium.

In a 2017 interview with RVBusiness, RVillage founder Curtis Coleman said he created the organization to connect RVers with each other. “RVers are mobile,” said Coleman. “The problem is that it’s difficult to connect with people moving around.” The RVillage platform solves that problem for its members, Coleman said at the time, by proviidng the locations of other network members within a certain radius of each other as well as any nearby campgrounds.

In 2020 Coleman sold RVillage to Togo Group, which would later become Roadpass Digital.

The full message from RVillage to its members is below:

Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories together – helping every member of our village make the most of the open road. Sadly, the time has come for us to say goodbye to RVillage. The RVillage website, apps, and support will be shut down on March 31, 2023.

To help you navigate the closure of RVillage, we’ve put together several resources to help. If you have questions about your account, please read our FAQs.

As we know you’ve made meaningful connections on the RVillage platform, every RVillager is invited to join the RVillage Community Facebook Group, where you can keep in touch with other RVers and continue to share about your experiences on the road – even after March 31st.
