REV Recreation Group Set to Debut Fleetwood Flex at Hershey
DECATUR, Ind. – The new Fleetwood RV Flex luxury coach will make its official debut at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pa., Sept. 14-18. The Class A Gas motorhome is “perfect for families and a cut above the rest because it’s packed with top-tier amenities that come standard,” according to a release.
Case in point, the Flex 32S easily sleeps six and has a full wall slide that gives the motorhome an expansive feel. The 32S boasts two full baths, a residential refrigerator, the frequently-requested electric Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed, jack knife sofa and Dream Dinette that convert into beds, three LED TVs, and theater seating – all included in the starting MSRP.
“We want to give families plenty of choices with the Flex model, so we’re offering three different floorplans and three different RV lengths,” said Doug Miller, product manager for REV Recreation Group’s Class A products. “When you couple the floor plan selection with the amenities that we’ve added, it makes for quite an impressive RV.”
But the upgrades aren’t limited to physical components. The Flex motorhome also includes technology advances that make RV life easier, including: WiFiRanger to boost an existing Wi-Fi signal; a MultiPlex house control with a larger format seven-inch digital display that’s more convenient and easier to operate; and a dash stereo that has a 10.1” tilt screen with Apple CarPlay and is Android Auto compatible.
For plenty of power and towing capacity, the Flex is built on a 22,000-pound chassis and has a Ford 7.3L V8 engine that generates 350 horsepower at 468 pound-feet of torque. The Flex’s tow hitch is rated at 8,000 pounds.
Exterior Flexes Personality
In addition to the interior upgrades, the Flex motorhome sports a bold exterior. Starting at the front, the grill has an “edgier” look thanks to its sleek chrome accents. The full-body, four-color paint comes standard, and the graphics are unique. Instead of a typical swirl pattern, the graphics have sharp lines and angles, delivering a modern look and feel. Finally, the rear is a one-piece fiberglass cap with upgraded lighting features.
The exterior color choices include: a silver and blue combination called Steel Creek; a red and gray color scheme dubbed Reserve; and gray with green accents known as Congaree.
Three Floorplans
The Flex is available in three floorplans – 32S, 34J, and 35R – that range in length from 32’ to 34’ to 35’.
32S – The 32’, twin-slide floorplan features an amenity sought after by many RVers – two full baths. There’s a Dream Dinette that quickly and easily converts from a table into a bed, a jack knife sofa that turns into a bed plus the Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed. A large pantry in the kitchen provides extra storage.
34J – The 34’, single wall, full slide includes bunk beds with a rolling barn door for privacy, a Dream Dinette, jack knife sofa, Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed, full-length wardrobe in the master bedroom, an exterior kitchenette with a refrigerator, microwave, and sink, and pass-through luggage bays.
35R – The 35’, twin-slide floorplan has extra space that’s ideal for entertaining. The RV boasts theater seating, a jack knife sofa, Dream Dinette, Hide-A-Loft drop-down bed, and a large pantry. The RV also comes with a 2000-watt inverter.
Interior Décor
On the style side, to add warmth and visual interest, the Flex model has extra touches like wainscotting, accent panels, and feature walls. Owners can choose from four different cabinetry types – two stained and two painted woods – and three different interior décor packages. Stylish yet extremely durable Tarkett flooring is found throughout the coach and the galley boasts attractive solid surface countertops.
The Flex from Fleetwood RV has a starting MSRP of $199,888.
