Responders Rescue 14 People from Flooded RV Park in Ky. – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News

First responders rescued more than a dozen people Monday who were trapped because of rising floodwaters at the Paducah RV Park, according to The Paducah Sun.
The McCracken County Rescue Squad Water Response Team and the Concord Fire Department Swift Water team responded after learning multiple families were trapped in their homes/campers at the park on Shemwell Lane, the McCracken County Emergency Management Office said. In total, they rescued 14 people, four dogs and one cat.
Once evacuated from the floodwaters, the emergency management office said First Baptist Church of Paducah provided a van and driver to take the evacuees to local hotels or to meet up with their family members.
