Report: NHTSA Releases its Latest Rundown of RV Recalls

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

Newell Coach Corp. (Newell) is recalling 28 2023-2024 P50 motor coaches. The brake lights may fail to illuminate unless the brake pedal is fully depressed. Owner notification letters were mailed March 14, 2023.

Kibbi, LLC (Kibbi) is recalling 63 2022-2023 Renegade RV Classic, Explorer, and XL Motorhomes. The entry door latch may fail and not allow entry or exit. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 7, 2023.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling 644 2022 F-53 and F-59 vehicles. The rear brake caliper attachment bolts may not be tightened correctly, which can allow the caliper to loosen and possibly damage the wheel or brake lines. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 10, 2023.
