Report: NHTSA Releases its Latest Rundown of RV Recalls

EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is the latest list of RV recalls compiled by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Per strict NHTSA protocols, manufacturers will next notify its dealer partners of the recall notice. Each notice will include details of the affected vehicles as well as the appropriate remedy.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling 262 2023 Salem, Stealth EVO, and Wildwood travel trailers. The 8-gauge wire connected to the 12-Volt refrigerator may not have over-current protection, which can cause the wire to melt. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 23, 2023.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling 90 2023 Jayco Solstice and Entegra Expanse recreational vehicles. The heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system’s controls, including those for defog and defrost, may become inoperative. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on Jan. 13, 2023.

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling 37 2023 Jayco Seneca XT and Entegra Accolade XT motorhomes. The windshield wiper arms may break, causing the windshield wipers to fail. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed Jan. 20, 2023.
