Renovations Ongoing at General RV Center in Pennsylvania – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
WIXOM, Mich.– General RV Center announded today (June 17) it is expanding its Pennsylvania footprint with a $15 million renovation project at its Elizabethtown Supercenter.
Located in Lancaster County, this General RV Supercenter will nearly double in size.. The renovation includes three major projects: an expanded RV lot, a new retail space and a drive-thru service canopy addition. Once completed, this location will be able to house three times its current capacity of RVs with 16 more paved acres of RVs. The over 15,000 square-foot retail building expansion and a new 7,000-square-foot drive-thru service canopy will allow for expanded customer service and facilities.
“We opened this location three years ago, and since then our store and customers have grown,” said Loren Baidas, General RV CEO. “We’re excited to take a significant leap forward and update our store to reflect our current Supercenter format. This renovation will allow us to deliver an even better experience to our new and existing customers throughout the region. Once completed, this Supercenter will be the largest, most state-of-the-art RV dealership in Pennsylvania and surrounding states.”
The Supercenter will remain open throughout construction, which is expected to wrap up in Spring 2025. General RV is taking all necessary measures to minimize disruptions and ensure the customer experience remains seamless. This is one of two General RV locations in Pennsylvania; the second location opened in 2023 in West Chester.
