AIRSTREAM INC.

23V-435: Certain 2023 Bambi travel trailers. The capacity of the fresh-water tank was overstated, resulting in an incorrect cargo carrying capacity (CCC) label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, “Tire Selection and Rims.” Airstream, (877) 596-6505 or (937) 596-6111, ext. 7401 or 7411.

23V-454: Certain 2023-2024 Interstate 19 and Interstate 24 motorhomes. The main cable from the battery to the fuse panel may be underprotected by a 200-amp fuse, which could allow the wiring to overheat in the event of a short circuit and increase the risk of a fire. 23V-519: Certain 2023-2024 Bambi, Basecamp, Caravel, Flying Cloud, Globetrotter, International, and Interstate travel trailers. The SmartPlug 30-amp inlet manufactured with the manganese bronze D-rings may crack or fail when tightened to the recommended torque setting, increasing the risk of a fire. 23V-522: Certain 2019-2023 Ford Transit, 2020 Ram, and 2020-2022 Sprinter recreational vehicles upfitted by Creative Mobile Interiors. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the injection pump module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak and increasing the risk of a fire. 23V-569: Certain 2023-2024 Paradigm 295MK, 310RL, 340RL, 370FB, 382RK, 385FL, 390MP, and 395DS fifth-wheels. The breakaway switch and trailer brakes may not activate when needed because of an incorrectly wired breakaway switch, increasing the risk of a crash. Alliance, (574) 218-7165.

 

CHINOOK MOTOR COACH LLC

23V-530: Certain 2020-2024 Bayside motorhomes equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the injection pump module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak and increasing the risk of a fire. FOREST RIVER

23V-503: Certain 2023 Impression fifth-wheels. The exterior griddle may be stowed while still connected to the propane line, increasing the risk of a fire. Forest River, (574) 327-2707.

23V-558: Certain 2023 Forest River Palomino Pause travel trailers. The awning may not be adequately secured, which can cause it to detach, increasing the risk of injury or a crash. Forest River, (574) 327-2681.

23V-559: Certain 2024 Sandpiper and Sierra fifth-wheels. The axle may be installed backward, which can reduce braking ability and increase the risk of a crash. Forest River, (574) 534-4574.

23V-575: Certain 2024 Coachmen Beyond, Galleria, and Nova motorhomes equipped with certain SmartPlug 30-amp shore power inlets. The manganese bronze D-rings may crack or fail when tightened to the recommended torque setting, increasing the risk of a fire. Forest River, (574) 825-6319.

 

GRAND DESIGN RV LLC

23V-455: Certain 2023 Momentum and Reflection travel trailers equipped with certain 5,200- and 6,000-pound Curt RV axles. The axles may have an improperly tightened grease fitting that can separate and cause damage, possibly resulting in wheel detachment and increasing the risk of a crash. 23V-490: Certain 2021-2024 Momentum and Solitude fifth-wheels equipped with certain Curt 7,000- and 8,000-pound axles. 23V-477: Certain 2021-2022 Entegra Coach Accolade and Accolade XL and Jayco Seneca and Seneca Prestige motorhomes. The windshield wipers may fail, resulting in reduced driver visibility and increasing the risk of a crash. Jayco, (800) 283-8267.

23V-486: Certain 2020-2021 Entegra Coach Launchand Qwest and Jayco Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes. The heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning blower motor circuit may be inadequate, potentially allowing the wiring harness to overheat, which may increase the risk of a fire. LAKOTA CORPORATION

23V-550: Certain 2020-2024 Bighorn and Charger triple axle 5/6 horse trailers. The main rails of the axle carrier may have been manufactured with insufficient-gauge steel, which can cause the carrier to break and increase the risk of a crash. Lakota, (574) 848-1636.

 

NEWMAR CORPORATION

23V-469: Certain 2019-2023 Bay Star, 2020-2023 Bay Star Sport, and 2022-2023 Super Star motorhomes. The seat belt brackets for the dinette seat belts were modified to avoid interference with the vehicle slideout rollers in the floor. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 210, “Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages” and 207, “Seating Systems.” Newmar recall number: 604RSB. 23V-532: Certain 2023 Phaeton motorhomes equipped with Cummins L9 diesel engines. The remote stage-two fuel filter hoses may have been damaged during production, potentially allowing the hoses to leak or disconnect and increasing the risk of a crash and fire.
