Rare Tiger Cub Triplets Spotted in Thailand National Park
For the first time in the history of Kaeng Krachan National Park, park officials announced they’ve spotted tiger cub triplets on a trail camera. Biologists reportedly first spotted the tigress in 2024 with one cub, but soon after, heavy rains made it impossible to collect trail cameras to retrieve footage. When they finally did get to the cameras, they discovered that the tigress actually had three little cubs.

“This is the first time we have recorded a tiger raising three cubs in the national park,” said Mongkol Chaipakdee, Kaeng Krachan National Park chief, in a statement to AFP.
In a Facebook post sharing the wonderful news, alongside videos of the adorable triplets, Kaeng Krachan National Park says: “This is good news for Kaeng Krachan National Park and the Kaeng Krachan Forest Complex, a World Heritage Site. It is the result of intensive quality patrols (Smart Patrol) by Kaeng Krachan National Park patrol officers. Come congratulate and welcome the little ones to the World Heritage Site.”
