Raji Green Joining NRVTA Team as Marketing Manager
ATHENS, Texas – The National RV Training Academy (NRVTA) today announced that Raji Green has joined the team as its marketing manager.
Reporting directly to Tony Flammia, NRVTA’s sales and marketing director, Green will manage the marketing department and oversee the school’s associated promotional activities and initiatives.
“My biggest goal for this role is to make NRVTA a household name for technical and trade schools,” she explained. “In the future, I want to see our organization be as ubiquitous as any other trade school when people are considering this type of program.”
Green would also like to expand NRVTA’s current demographic to attract more people from different backgrounds and walks of life.
“So long as they have passion for the RV Industry and community, I want people to know they are welcome here and can be a part of the NRVTA family,” she said.
An Arizona native, Green earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and master’s in business administration from Grand Canyon University, a Christian school in Phoenix.
She has nine years of experience in orchestrating online and non-traditional advertising programs for various companies. Green specializes in marketing strategy as well as disruptive advertising which breaks through the noise of competing messages.
“The team, passion and people who are either working here or attending classes attracted me to NRVTA,” she said. “The culture here promotes working together toward a common goal, and helping to serve our students and community. I also love the work itself; it’s engaging, fun, challenging and dynamic. I have new challenges every day, and I enjoy tackling them and doing my best to promote the school and help it to grow.”
When she isn’t working, Green enjoys painting, gardening, cooking, baking, reading and bird watching. She also loves to travel, whether locally or internationally. She and her husband, Dominic, now live in Atlanta where they raise their son, Devin.
“Music is a huge passion of mine. I used to play a violin for years and recently started shopping for a new instrument so I can begin playing again,” she explained. “I love animals and enjoy hanging out with, taking care of, and photographing my cat, dog and turtle.”
Flammia said Green brings not only new energy to the school, but a new perspective on marketing as well.
“NRVTA has been tremendously successful in attracting older students who are looking for a career change and see becoming a certified RV technician or inspector as a way to achieve their dreams,” he explained. “Raji has outlined some incredible ideas regarding ways we can reach younger students and people of color who are discovering the benefits of the RV lifestyle decades earlier than people have in the past.
“I am confident Raji’s magnetic personality and enthusiasm will enable the marketing team to craft customized messages across a variety of platforms to attract new students to NRVTA,” he added. “Our school may be located in Texas, but our influence extends to nearly every state and Canadian province. I am pleased to have Raji on our team and excited to see what she can do to promote NRVTA’s programs, students and staff.”
