Purem Names New President of Business Unit Americas
ESSLINGEN, Germany and Novi, Mich. – Purem by Eberspaecher announced Dec. 20 that Michael Brosseau has been appointed new president of the business unit Americas. An experienced business leader, Brousseau succeeds Rick Llope and assumed responsibilities on Dec. 5. Llope will proceed an opportunity outside of the company, according to a press release from the company.
Brosseau has over 25 years of experience leading Tier One supplier organizations in business development, engineering, program management, and operations. He has managed global teams with resources in North and South America, Asia and Europe. Michael has been the North American President of two global automotive suppliers and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Kettering University as well as an MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy.
“Michael is the perfect fit for this position as we are growing in the Americas with newly won customer orders for our exhaust emission conversion systems,” said Volker Cwielong, Co-CEO of Purem by Eberspaecher. “He will be responsible for the implementation of the Exhaust Technology Division’s strategic and commercial goals for Business Unit Americas in accordance with our corporate guidelines, culture and values,” added Cwielong.
Purem by Eberspaecher has six production sites as well as a research and development center in the Americas and about 2,300 employees. The latest addition was a new facility in Louisville, Ky.
