BERNARDSVILLE, N.J. – As the flowers reemerge along the Spacious Skies Campgrounds Spring Bloom Trail, so do the springtime festivals near the campgrounds. The festivals celebrate a wide range of regionally inspired attractions and offerings, according to a release.

For example, there’s a festival that celebrates Irish and Scottish heritage near  Spacious Skies Savannah Oaks in Savannah, Georgia. A Livermush Festival near Spacious Skies Hidden Creek in Marion, NC. celebrates a southern delicacy. And a paranormal festival near Spacious Skies Walnut Grove in Alfred, Maine takes the spirit world seriously. There are food-focused festivals galore, such as the Hudson Berkshire Wine, Food & Craft Festival near Spacious Skies Woodland Hills and a Whoopie Pie Festival near Spacious Skies Balsam Woods in Abbot, Maine, where this much-loved concoction is the state’s official treat.

“The arrival of spring means the beginning of camping season for many of our guests, and it is common for them to enjoy their favorite spring festivals as a way to kick off the year,” said Ali Rasmussen, co-founder of Spacious Skies Campgrounds. “The reemergence of flowers and blooming trees helps to create a vibrant and pleasant atmosphere.”

Some guests time their visits around the festivals while others time them around the Spacious Skies Campgrounds Spring Bloom Trail. The trail, which travels from Georgia to Maine highlights the explosion of wildflower color along the way.

All 15 Spacious Skies Campgrounds are located in destinations with nearby charming towns, scenic vistas, parks and attractions. The campgrounds feature a variety of options including RV sites and glamping options like cabins, yurts and retro trailers.

Campers can select their preferred RV sites or lodging and make reservations online.
