Hybrid Light is a pioneer in solar-powered mobile lighting and charging. The products created by Hybrid Light have power panels and are reliable products to keep with you at camp. All of their lanterns, headlamps, and flashlights are solar-powered and have charging capabilities so you don’t need to bring a portable charger.

Founder and owner Terry Peterson began his journey into solar-powered lighting in 2006. His goal was to create high-quality and affordable lighting options for campers while eliminating the need to pack extra batteries.. Now, almost 20 years later, Peterson is continuing to explore ways to improve upon their designs.

Reviews

The Hybrid Light Atlas Fire Lantern has excellent reviews from consumers, saying that the highest setting is great for lighting an entire room. The light output is strong, even on the lowest setting, and it is an excellent, lightweight option. The only critique in their reviews was that some customers wished there was a warmer light setting, rather than just a cool, blue-toned one.

I had the opportunity to test this lantern, and I have to agree with the positive comments about it. I want my backpack to be as light as possible, so the lightweight design is an awesome perk.

My favorite part about the lantern is that it is solar-powered, meaning I don’t have to worry about it being fully charged before I leave for an outdoor adventure. As someone who is constantly worried about forgetting something or forgetting to do something, knowing that I can just grab it and go is a great perk for me. Being able to charge personal items, like your cell phone is another plus, especially when you’re out in the wild and using your phone for navigation.
