Pennsylvania Fish and Boat commissioners add 20 new wild trout streams – Outdoor News

Harrisburg — Pennsylvania Fish & Boat commissioners, at their quarterly meeting April 29, approved the addition of 20 streams or portions of streams to the commission’s wild trout stream list.
Wild trout streams are managed differently than other waters.
Added to the list were:
• Clear Run, Adams County, from the headwaters to its mouth at Carbaugh Run;
• Saw Mill Run, Adams County, from its headwaters to Carbaugh Reservoir;
• Unnamed tributary to Bank Run, Bedford County, headwaters to its mouth at Bank Run;

• First Hollow Creek, Carbon County, from the headwaters to its mouth at Nesquehoning Creek;
• Mackey Creek, Franklin County, from the headwaters to its mouth at Red Run.
• Yellow Creek, Indiana County, from its headwaters to its mouth at Laurel Run;
• Schweyer Run, Juniata County, from the headwaters to its mouth at the Juniata River;
• Muncy Creek, Lycoming County, from its headwaters to the mouth at Lick Run;
• Unnamed tributary to unnamed tributary to Laurel Creek Reservoir, Mifflin County, from the mouth at Laurel Creek Reservoir;
• Unnamed tributary to Laurel Creek Reservoir, Mifflin County, from the headwaters to Laurel Creek Reservoir;
• Unnamed tributary to Lingle Creek, Mifflin County, from the headwaters to Lingle Creek;
• Unnamed tributary to Tea Creek, Mifflin County, from its headwaters to the mouth at Tea Creek;
• Indian Shanty Run, Potter County, from the headwaters to the mouth at Borie Branch;
• Unnamed tributary to Prouty Run, Potter County, from its headwaters to the mouth at Prouty Run;
• Unnamed tributary to Beaverdam Run, Somerset County, from the headwaters to Beaverdam Run mouth;
• Unnamed tributary to an unnamed tributary to West Branch Lackawaxen River, Wayne County, headwaters to West Branch Lackawaxen River.
• Unnamed tributary to an unnamed tributary to Middle Creek, Wayne County, from the headwaters to the mouth at Middle Creek.
Fish & Boat commissioners also approved the following revisions to the section limits of streams on the wild trout stream list:
• Fall Brook, Lackawanna County, headwaters to second headwaters to Lackawanna River, from the mouth to the SR 106 Bridge
• Still Creek, Schuylkill County, headwaters to its mouth at Little Schuylkill Creek Reservoir.
• Spruce Run, Union County, headwaters to Buffalo Creek confluence with Black Run;
• Starrucca Creek, Wayne County, Thompson to Wayne/ Susquehanna County line, headwaters to North Branch Susquehanna River.
