OEM Showcase: Boreas Campers ’24 XT Model Offroad Trailer – RVBusiness – Breaking RV Industry News
PUEBLO, Colo. – Boreas Campers, a leading innovator in off-road camper trailers, announces the launch of the 2024 Boreas Campers XT model walkthrough video. Designed to push the boundaries of adventure, the XT model represents the pinnacle of durability and comfort for outdoor enthusiasts.
The 2024 Boreas Campers XT has evolved since its inception in 2015 to meet the diverse needs of modern explorers, offering a host of features that set it apart from traditional camper trailers. Whether embarking on a rugged off-road expedition or enjoying a peaceful weekend getaway in nature, the XT provides unparalleled performance and comfort in any environment.
Key updates to the 2024 XT include:
Victron Electrical System: Victron electrical components are used throughout the camper. The GX50 5″ touch screen display gives an instant overview of the electrical system and provides the ability to adjust settings. The Cerbo GX connects to the Victron 30 Amp MPPT controller, which allows for monitoring the charging system from the touch screen as well. To round out the electrical system the XT is also getting a Victron Phoenix Smart Charger for charging via shore power and an Orion Smart Charger for charging from the 7 pin of the tow vehicle.
Standard Lithium: Battle Born 100Ah heated lithium batteries come standard on the 2024 XT. A second battery for a total of 200Ah of lithium power can be added.
Partner Cookstove: The kitchen stove is now a 16” Partner cook stove which puts out 20,000 BTUs.
Up to 500w of Solar: The XT will now have the option for permanently fixed, upgraded solar options. The solar panels will be roof rack-mounted in 200 Watt and 400 Watt configurations. With the standard 100 Watt panel the XT will have 300 Watts and 500 Watts of solar, respectively.
12V AC Option: The XT will now have the option for a Nomadic X2 12V AC. It’s an 8,000 BTU permanently mounted rooftop AC unit that can run off-grid without a generator for about 8 hours with a dual battery system. It’s a low-profile unit so the XT will still fit inside a 7 ft garage with this option.
“We’re thrilled to introduce the upgrades to the 2024 Boreas Campers XT model,” said Matt Reichel, Founder and President of Boreas Campers. “The unit was already in a league of its own based on its ruggedness, and these features make it the perfect match for avid outdoors folks to experience nature at a new level. Whether you’re a devoted off-roader, a weekend warrior, or a full-time nomad, the XT model is the ultimate companion for your adventures.”
